During the first counseling session, we will get to know each other a little bit, and you will let me know what is going on. I will ask you a few questions to ensure I have enough information to create a treatment plan that meets your needs.

During our first session, we will talk and I will ask you a few questions. We can decide together if counseling will work to help you feel better.
How often will I need to come to counseling in Victoria, Texas?
Clients usually come to counseling once a week at first and when they start feeling better they can go to every other week then once a month until they feel that they will be o.k. without counseling. Clients are always welcome to reschedule if they feel the need after counseling ends.
How long will I need to come to counseling?
Usually, clients come to counseling for three to six months, with some clients deciding they are feeling better sooner and some asking for more time. We will check on your progress at each session to evaluate if we are meeting your goals then determine when it is best for counseling to come to an end for you. Remember that you are always welcome to reschedule if you feel the need after counseling ends.
How much do sessions cost in Victoria, Texas?
We charge $100 per 50 minute session.
Are sessions covered by my insurance?
For HMO, you have to find someone on their particular list. If you want to get the list of people on your HMO and contact me again, I would be happy to go over the list with you and give you recommendations on who would be a good fit.
For PPO, you will pay me at the start of each session then I will give you a special receipt to submit to your insurance company for them to reimburse you.

Do you have evening and weekend appointments available in Victoria, Texas?
Currently, I am offering evening (4:00-6:00) and morning weekend (8:00-noon) sessions.
Where do sessions take place?
We will do our sessions over the phone, via tele-video, or in person in Victoria, Texas.
What if counseling isn't working?
If you feel that our sessions are not helping you to feel better, I will assist you in finding another counselor.
I know it can feel like a big step to call a counselor, but I’ll make it easy. We’ll spend 15 minutes on the phone and I’ll let you know how or if I can help. If I am not the right person, I’ll do my best to get you to the right person.
